Inclined Screw Conveyor or Inclined Screw Feeder, Powder Feeders

To ensure optimum accuracy when filling powders with the powder filler which is not based on weigh filling, it is desirable to maintain the product (powder) level in the filling machine hopper, so even pressure is maintained when dosing the product into the container. To avoid constant feeding and monitoring of the product level and in the machine hopper, an Inclined screw feeder or an inclined screw conveyor is recommended as part of the complete machine. The inclined screw conveyor consists of a big bin (150 L to 300 L or bigger) on the floor level (base at height of 250 mm to 300 mm from floor) an Inclined screw conveyor which will transfer the product from the bin to the hopper, Level sensors in the hopper, and Auto start-stop function. Level Sensors in the hopper will send signals to the control panel which will in turn start or stop the inclined screw conveyor to maintain the desired levels in the machine hopper.

The machine is custom built to suit the drop height and transfer capacities of the powder, required per minute. It is also used independently for transferring powder into larger bins/mixing tanks on the mezzanine floor, specially by paint manufacturing units.
