Lid pressing for closing of containers is an essential operation required by manufacturers who are packing the products in open top metal containers or in plastic pails and buckets. Manufacturers have realized that Lid closing of filled containers by manually hammering the lids on to the containers is a tedious, time consuming and labour intensive process. K & R International offers Automatic and Semi Automatic Lid Pressing Machines and Closing Machines which seal the containers with the right amount of pressure ensuring perfect closing without damaging the containers. The machines are equipped with idler rollers to facilitate easy transfer of filled buckets. Machine is mounted on wheels and base pads, for easy movement from one place to another

The Automatic On-Line Lid Pressing Machines come in 3 models:

• Automatic Lid Pressing Machines for 500 ml to 5 L plastic and metal containers
• Automatic Lid Pressing Machines for 10 L and 20 L Plastic pails and buckets

Machines can also be custom built to suit the dimensions of the containers.

The machine comprises of a conveyor for containers and a Lid Pressing unit which may be a Pneumatic Lid Pressing unit or a Continuous Roller backed Belt type Lid Pressing unit. The bottom conveyor and the Lid pressing unit is synchronized to ensure stability to the filled container while it is simultaneously pressing the lids on to the containers. The height of the Lid pressing unit is adjustable to suit the height of the container.

These machines are available in Flame- Proof and Non Flame Proof Models.

Semi Automatic Lid Pressing Machines

Semi Automatic Lid Pressing Machines are stand-alone lid pressing and closing machines. These machines are pneumatically activated and no electricity is required as such these are safe for pressing Lids on buckets and metal containers which are also filled with inflammable products.

Semi Automatic Lid Pressing Machines are available:

• Semi Automatic Lid Pressing Machines for 500 ml to 5 L volume containers
• Semi Automatic Lid Pressing Machines for 10 L and 20 L or 5 gallon pails and buckets.
• Semi automatic Lid Pressing and Closing Machines for 10 L and 20 L buckets with internal fitment.

The machines are with height adjustable platform or pressing plate to suit the container heights, depending on the dimensions of the containers.
